ONLINE ENROLLMENT: All returning students to Cowan Elementary MUST complete the online registration forms each year. If you have not already done so, please go to the school website and click the ‘Online Registration’ link under the ‘For Parents’ tab to complete the registration process for the 2024-25 school year. It is very important that all registration documents are completed online by Monday, August 5. For those who have no computer access at home, please call the office and set up a time to come and use a computer.
Back to School Night is August 5 from 6-7 p.m. Bring your school supplies, meet the teachers and see the building!
The first day of school is August 7! Welcome back!
The School Board will meet August 15 at 6 p.m.
Fundraiser Kickoff: Students in grades K-6 will be participating in a fundraiser beginning August 12 and ending August 27. Students will be selling delicious chocolate bars from World’s Finest Chocolates. Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase miscellaneous prizes, rewards and books, as well as provide funds for future field trips.
The Big Idea is a program that may offer meat, fruits and vegetables, refrigerated and frozen items and/or dry goods along with other community resources. The next Big Idea giveaway will be August 22 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Please bring bags to take food home. Please park by and enter door #7. All families with a child in Cowan Schools are welcome.
FALL PICTURES: Crabtree Photography will be at Cowan Elementary on Friday, August 23 for Fall Pictures. Watch for order forms to come home with your student(s).
