GRANDPARENT’S NIGHT: We would like to invite our students and their grandparents to join us on Wednesday, November 12 from 3:30-5:30 PM. There will be activities in the classrooms, treats in the cafeteria, Crabtree Photography will be set up for those wishing to purchase pictures, and the Scholastic Book Fair will be open for shopping in the library. Grandparents will also have the opportunity to support Secret Families of Delaware County by purchasing candy grams in the hallway right outside of the Book Fair. Grandparents should not arrive before 3:20 PM to avoid getting mixed up in school dismissal procedures.
The Big Idea is a program that may offer meat, fruits and vegetables, refrigerated and frozen items and/or dry goods along with other community resources. The next Big Idea giveaway will be November 20 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Please bring bags to take food home. Please park by and enter door #7. All families with a child in Cowan Schools are welcome.
The Children’s Clothing Center of Delaware County, Inc., offers new and used clothing to Delaware County students in need. If you are interested, please contact the elementary office for a referral from the principal. The referral can then be completed and taken to the center. Hours of operation are listed on the referral form.
