Cowan Blackhawk families,

Firstly, it's hard to believe that May is just around the corner! This year has flown by, and it's bittersweet to think that our time together is drawing to a close. Nonetheless, we have many exciting events planned for May to make the most of our remaining time together. From field trips and outdoor activities to grade-level celebrations, to field day and our annual picnic, there's plenty to look forward to.

I want to take a moment to express my utmost pride in our 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders for their exceptional effort during the recent ILEARN testing. Our 5th and 6th graders continue to test next week, but it is already evident that they are giving it their best. Their dedication and commitment to these assessments were truly remarkable, and it's evident that they approached the tests with seriousness and focus. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for encouraging and supporting your students throughout this process. Your involvement plays a significant role in their success, and I am sincerely grateful for your partnership.

As we navigate through the final weeks of the school year, I encourage you to stay connected with us and remain engaged in your student's educational journey. Your continued support is invaluable, and together, we can ensure a strong finish to the academic year.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support and dedication to your student's education. Let's make these last weeks of the school year memorable and meaningful for our students.

Sincerely,

Lendon D. Schwartz

Principal
