Hello everyone,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new School Resource Officer (SRO) for Cowan Community School Corporation. My name is Dylan Arens, and I am deeply honored to join this wonderful community and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

I come to Cowan Community School Corporation with a strong commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving in various law enforcement capacities, and I am eager to bring my expertise and dedication to this esteemed institution.

As the SRO, my foremost goal is to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and educators. I believe that open communication and mutual trust are key components of a successful school security program. I am here not only to enforce the law but also to be a resource, mentor, and friend to all members of our school community.

I am passionate about promoting a sense of security, respect, and inclusivity within our school. Through collaboration and engagement, we can create an environment where every student can thrive academically and personally. Together, we will work to address any concerns, implement safety protocols, and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
